PBS KIDS Raising Readers presents the WORD OF THE DAY. This new feature gives preschoolers a chance to learn a new word with their favorite PBS KIDS characters from SESAME STREET, BETWEEN THE LIONS and WORDWORLD.

The multimedia module features the word and its definition, an audio read-aloud from a PBS KIDS character and a video clip showing the word in action. The module can be watched at home with a parent, or at school or daycare with a teacher or caregiver. New words from SUPER WHY and MARTHA SPEAKS will be added soon!
