Member Services Volunteers
Our Development and Membership office in Oakland is currently in need of volunteers with the following skills to help in our Member Services department:
- Great customer service skills and a good telephone personality
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
- Experience using Windows
- Ability to learn new software programs
- Basic computer data entry skills
You will help answer our Member Services phone line and answer basic questions for our members about their memberships and pledges. You will also help us update our member's accounts with important information that helps us serve them better.
We're also seeking people who can commit to volunteering 10 hours per week on a set schedule. We prefer between the hours of 10AM and 5PM, Monday through Friday.

Development and Membership Clerical Volunteers
Our Development and Membership office in Oakland is currently in need of volunteers with the following skills to help us carry out basic clerical tasks:
- Great organizational skills
- An ability to work well independently or in a group of other volunteers
You will help us process internal mailings by folding letters, stuffing envelopes, sorting documents, filing and packing member thank-you gifts for shipping.
The hours for this position are flexible and vary from week to week, depending on the number of clerical jobs we have to complete. In general, we prefer people who can commit to being available 10 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 10am-5pm.

Volunteer Programs Helper
Our Development and Membership office in Oakland is currently in need of volunteers with the following skills to help us maintain our volunteer program:
- Great customer service skills and a good telephone personality
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
- Experience using Windows
- Ability to learn new software programs
- Basic computer data entry skills
You will help us prepare for upcoming pledge drives by calling our volunteer lists, research new businesses and organizations that may be interested in donating to our pledge drives and keep track of important volunteering statistics.
We're seeking people who can commit to volunteering 10 hours per week on a set schedule. We prefer between the hours of 10AM and 5PM, Monday through Friday.
